“Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence” 是由阪本龍一和David Sylvian為1983上影的同名電影(中譯：俘虜)所共同創作的配樂。但我卻是從宇多田光的英文轉輯This is the one的同名歌曲接觸這首樂，這段片也是在尋找 MTV 時找到的。不知是否因為自己喜愛小提琴，還是最近開始聽鋼琴的關係，很喜歡這個二重奏的版本，聽聞這首歌曲版本很多，除了有阪本龍一彈奏的樂曲，也有David Sylvian親自演唱的版本，會找個機會去聽聽。
